MUA Heaven and Earth Palette Review and Swatches!

I'm sure you have all heard of MUA and probably the Heaven and Earth palette as it is dubbed the naked dupe, but for those that haven't MUA is a line exclusive to Superdrug. In the original line all the products are £1! MUA recently launched the pro line which includes the heaven and earth palette priced at £4

Sorry the pics aren't great I'm still new at this so bear with me please. First off the packaging it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing however its sturdy and does a good job of protecting the product which at £4 what more can you ask for.

The palette consists of 12 shimmer shades which personally i love but if your more of a matte girl then this palette isn't the one for you.

The formula of these shadows is lovely, silky and smooth but i do think if your a bit heavy handed the shadows would crumble.The pigmentation is also fantastic the swatches below were taken in natural light...well as much natural light humanly possible in January in England.

I use these shadows on a regular basis but i do tend to just use one colour across the lid although i have had a little play around blending and such like and they looked fab and also lasted about 5/6 hours without creasing so i do believe with a primer they would last all day.

To sum up i love this palette it is the only one i have tried from the pro line but i would like to try more but my local Superdrug doesn't stock MUA pro so i ordered this when Superdrug had the free delivery offer on before Christmas. If you are one the lucky ones who's Superdrug does stock these i would defiantly have a play round and i don't think you will be disappointed.

Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturising Day Cream

I picked this up about a month ago from Asda for £2!! Can you believe it! It was on offer but i have seen it again at that price a few times so keep those eyes open.

I'm not a girl that wears make up every day i just don't have the time but when i do i like to have something that i can put on quick and dont have to worry about blending to much.

I think this is perfect! I have quite sensitive acne prone skin and this hasn't caused any breakouts, like you would expect from a tinted moisturiser this doesnt have amazing amounts of coverage but it does have enough to give you a healthy glow.

This product claims to moisturise and even out skin tone for a healthy looking complexion, i do believe it evens out skin tone however i have very dry parts especially in the winter and i do find it can sit in theses areas so all i do is put a little of my moisturiser on first hey presto lovely skin :-)

The only downside is the packaging its white so gets dirty VERY quick but all in all i think this is a fantastic product and even full price at £4 i would definatly repurchase.

Introduction!

I've been toying with ideas of how to start my blog for a few days now.....I'm not the most decisive of people, it took me months to decide to start a blog!

I finally decided the best way to start would be with a little introduction to me so here goes..

I'm 22 i have a little girl who's 14 months old, I'm currently a stay at home mam which i LOVE but with not working i have a little more time on my hands and through You Tube i stumbled across i few blogs and i instantly fell in love with the beauty blogging community.

I knew straight away i would love to start my own beauty blog,however my budget is very tight and even though i love makeup i cant buy products all the time and when i do i think long and hard about it and read ALOT of reviews.

Also having a toddler constantly striving for your attention doesn't leave much time to get ready on a morning everything has to be quick and easy to use for me. i don't have time to be blending my eyeshadow for 20 Min's on a morning :-/

Basically i wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in reading a blog from me which is why it took me so long to decide to start a blog but what do i have to lose.

So here i am now sat at my laptop writing my first blog....eek! I'm hoping this blog will help out other mammy's or people on a tight budget like myself because surely i cant be the only person that cant afford most of the lovely things other beauty bloggers talk about.

I hope this has give u a little incite in to well...me :-)
